Fast Medical Treatment

When your employees are injured or become ill while on the job, send them to Healthline Medical Group. Healthline Medical Group offers comprehensive medical treatment for occupational injuries with minimal waiting time. Employees will be seen promptly upon their arrival. Our staff has been trained to triage the injured worker to help reduce the patient's discomfort and facilitate appropriate medical/surgical care in a timely manner.

 

7 Day Service

Our professional staff is available to treat your industrially injured workers 7 days a week, 365 days per year. Our hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 7:00am to 11:00pm, and
Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays 9:00am to 6:00pm. Healthline’s extended clinic hours accommodate your employees’ health care needs, avoiding unnecessary visits to an emergency room. More Info >>

 

Free Transportation

We have a van service available to pick up injured employees from the work site Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5 PM. This service is provided at no additional charge for new injuries only. Our goal in providing this service is to reduce or eliminate lost work time from a co-worker or supervisor who might otherwise have to provide transportation for the injured worker. More Info >>

 

Alternative Duty Assignments

In many instances HMG can reduce or eliminate many of your loss time cases. We will always try to send your injured employees back to work with modified/transitional duty restrictions, whenever possible. The physician will discuss modified duty restrictions with the supervisor, HR director, occupational health nurse or other designated employer contact person. If our professional staff is unable to communicate with the contact person, the appropriate work restrictions will be discussed with the injured worker and clearly noted on the status report.

 

Coordinated Referral Service

Healthline can provide the majority of the medical services required for your employees. When a specialist is needed, we will make all the necessary arrangements to ensure easy access to that specialist. Healthline will obtain all necessary pre-authorization for referrals. We will also remain in contact with the specialist to improve communication with respect to diagnosis, treatment and work status on behalf of the employee.

 

Special Industrial Pricing

At Healthline our pricing system is governed by the CRVS codes set forth by the State of California. We accept standard CRVS payment as payment in full. By using Healthline to handle your occupationally related health emergencies and illnesses, you can lower the overall costs of your industrial injuries and further reduce your future workman’s compensation premiums. Healthline Medical Group follows first aid protocol set forth in Labor Code 4600.

 

Streamline Paperwork to Insurance Carriers

Healthline has devised a reporting system that will keep you informed in a timely manner on the status of your injured employees. Information such as date of injury, diagnosis, treatment, modified duty restrictions and disability are all clearly defined on Healthline’s report. Healthline’s Electronic Medical Record produces the status report in a typewritten format that is easy to read and it can be electronically sent to the carrier.

Communication For Greater Control

Healthline keeps you informed about your employees. We will always keep the lines of communication open between our facility and your company. Upon the employees returning to work, we will include the medical diagnosis and description of the employees’ restrictions (if any). Communication is the key to a successful operation. Healthline has implemented an electronic medical record which allows for accurate data entry at the point of medical care. Each treatment room at Healthline has a computer to facilitate the creation of the electronic medical record. The creation of the Doctors First Report of Industrial Injury, PR-2 report, follow-up apointment clinical notes and status reports are all created in the electronic medical record before the patient even leaves the office. This provides much more timely reporting to the employer, the workers compensation carrier, the utilization review team members.

 

Reports For Management

Monthly reports are available upon request that will provide you with detailed information on all your employees’ health care activity. In these reports you will find a description of injury occurrence, volume of pre-placement and annual exams.
